How It Works.
The parachute stringer is a simple but effective method for fishing. Here’s how it works:
1. Setup: You take three boilies (these are balls of bait) and thread them onto a piece of PVA tape. This tape is special because it melts in water.
2. Tying: You then tie this tape around the hooklink, which connects your bait to the hook.
3. Positioning: Place the setup around the hook.
Advantages:
– Hides the Hook Point: The boilies cover the sharp part of the hook. This makes it less likely for fish to see the hook and avoids spooking them.
– Prevents Tangling: The PVA tape keeps the bait secured during the cast, which helps prevent it from tangling up.
– Marker for Extra Baits: If you change one of the boilies for a pop-up (a bait that floats), once the tape dissolves, you’ll have a clear marker. This helps you know where to throw more bait.
Using the parachute stringer can make your fishing more successful and efficient!
